SuperApp

A messaging or social app that has expanded into a multi-purpose platform hosting payments, mini-apps, games, identity, and commerce inside the chat surface.

WeChat is the canonical SuperApp. Tencent built around chat, then layered WeChat Pay, WeChat Mini Programs (including Mini Games), the WeChat Channels feed, and the open Mini Program ecosystem on top.
